Private sessions allow me to delve into a variety of issues, tailoring each session to your specific needs! We can cover basic obedience commands such as sit, down, come, and walking nicely on a leash. Additional topics include handling behaviors like playing keep-away with a kitchen towel and jumping on guests at the front door. If you'd like, I can bring my dog along as a playmate for socialization, to teach appropriate play, or simply to provide a helpful distraction. Training can take place at your home, a local park, a pet store, or any other pet-friendly location. I now offer training sessions both with and without a pet parent to accommodate busy families on the go. Each one-hour session is priced at $110, with an additional travel fee starting at $20, depending on your location. Minimum notice of 24 hours required to reschedule or cancel. $75 cancelation/rescheduling fee applies if less than 24 hours notice is given.

I offer group classes through Auburn Recreation District (ARD). These classes are designed to help socialize your dog and teach them basic obedience commands such as sit, down, come, and walking nicely on a leash, all while managing the distractions typically encountered away from home. The cost is $130 for Placer County residents and $140 for non-residents for a series of four one-hour classes.

Puppies require plenty of positive exposure during their early development. This class focuses on handling techniques, desensitization, house training, appropriate chewing, and more. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions while the puppies interact in a safe, contained environment. This course can be conducted as a private session or in a group class setting, depending on the Auburn Recreation District group class schedule. I will guide you step by step on what is needed for your dog to pass the Canine Good Citizen course, concluding with the test. If you’re not familiar with the CGC, feel free to ask me! Private session rates apply.

This service is a dog boot camp with a minimum duration of two weeks. It includes daily training sessions, field trips, and socialization, featuring interactions with my German Shepherds at my home. I will need to meet with you to evaluate your dog beforehand. Please note that this service is only available for non-aggressive dogs. For more details, please call. The cost is $200 per day, with a two-week minimum, which includes two private sessions. A travel fee will apply, starting at $20 and increasing based on your location.
